I have extensive experience in eminent domain law, having previously represented a condemning authority in all aspects of eminent domain litigation concerning the acquisition of private property for roadway projects. This experience has provided me with a deep understanding of the legal complexities involved, which I now apply to advocate for property owners facing eminent domain actions. My primary focus is on protecting the rights of these owners and ensuring they receive fair and just compensation for the taking of their property.
Additionally, I have significant experience representing condominium and homeowners' associations in a variety of matters, including, but not limited to, collections, foreclosures, corporate governance, rule enforcement, and general commercial litigation. This diverse practice has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and legal considerations that impact these communities.

The government holds the authority to take private property without the owner's consent when it is deemed necessary for a legitimate public purpose and is reasonably required to fulfill that purpose. This power is vested in the United States, individual states, and a wide range of federal, state, county, city, and other local agencies, including but not limited to transportation, utility, and library departments.
When the government exercises its power of eminent domain to take private property, the property owner is entitled to compensation not only for the fair market value of the property taken but also for any damages to the remaining property. Additionally, the government is responsible for covering the costs of legal representation and any expert services required, such as property appraisers and engineers, to assess the impact of the taking. I represent property owners at every stage of the condemnation (or "taking") process, from pre-suit negotiations to the resolution of litigation.
Condominium and homeowners' association representation, encompassing a wide range of legal matters, including, but not limited to: lien recording, assessment collections, commercial litigation, corporate governance, governing document review and amendment, and rules and regulations violations. With fifteen years of experience, I offer expert legal representation tailored to meet your specific needs. My practice is centered on real estate law, with a primary focus on eminent domain and condominium law, ensuring the protection of your property rights.
